CPD

CPD stands for Continuous Professional Development and describes ongoing learning that contributes to an individual`s knowledge and skills. Through CPD professional counsellors, psychologists and psychotherapists grow and develop throughout their careers to ensure that they retain their ability to practise safely, ethically and legally within their practice.

These are some of the CPDs and trainings that I have done over the past few years:

  • Understanding and working with self injury
  • `Using sand tray & clay in counselling` with Sian Jones
  • Understanding domestic violence and abuse
  • `Understanding adolescents` with Diana Samuels

  • `Bereavement, loss and change` with Surrey County Council
  • Julia Samuel: Grief works- Stories of life, death and surviving (online CPD)
  • Working with children in their world (online CPD)
